Corporate Christmas Gifts with Your Logo: 3D Printed Ideas and When to Order

3D printed corporate Christmas gifts with your logo: 8 ideas for clients and staff, when to order so gifts arrive before Christmas, quantities and tax notes.

Short answer: 3D printed corporate Christmas gifts are objects made exactly to your brand: a 3D desk logo, Christmas ornaments with your logo, key rings, phone stands or plaques with a thank-you. If we design the gift from scratch, the whole process from design to delivery takes about 3 to 4 weeks, so send your enquiry by 15 November at the latest. If you have your logo as a vector file and choose a simple object, an enquiry by 30 November is enough. Gift runs start at 20 pieces.

This article shows what 3D printing can make, how gifts for clients and for staff differ, when to order, what quantity makes sense and what to watch for with tax.

Which Branded Corporate Gifts Can We 3D Print?

3D printing suits gifts you cannot buy from a catalogue: you set the shape, colour and lettering, and every piece can carry the recipient’s name.

When Should You Order so Gifts Arrive Before Christmas?

Timeline for 3D printed corporate Christmas gifts: design 5 working days, sample, series 5 to 10 working days, delivery
Indicative dates based on the studio's lead times. We confirm the final order date in the quote, depending on capacity.

A gift run has four steps:

  1. Design and visualisation: within 5 working days of the brief.
  2. Sample for approval: you hold a printed piece before you approve the run, usually 3 to 5 working days.
  3. Series: 5 to 10 working days depending on quantity and size.
  4. Delivery: courier usually the next working day; in Nitra also handover in person by arrangement.

That is about 15 to 22 working days in total. If you want to hand out gifts at the company party or before the holidays around 18 December, send the enquiry for a newly designed gift by 15 November at the latest. For a simple object with a ready vector logo most of the design step falls away, and an enquiry by 30 November is enough. We confirm the final date in the quote, depending on capacity.

Gifts for Clients and Gifts for Staff: What Is the Difference?

Gifts for clients should remind them of your brand and the relationship. Objects that stay on the desk work best: a 3D logo, a stand, a plaque thanking them for the partnership or a miniature of your product. For key clients, personalising with their name or their company logo makes sense.

Gifts for staff should be useful and the same for everyone: an organiser, a phone stand, a key ring with their name or a Christmas ornament. For a larger team, one design with names costs less than several different objects.

What Is the Minimum Quantity?

We can make a single piece, such as a trophy or a gift for one key client. Gift runs start at 20 pieces, because the design and preparation are then spread over more pieces and the price per piece drops. The more pieces print together on one plate, the lower the price of each gift. How the price of 3D printing is made up is explained in how much does 3D printing cost.

How Do Design and the Sample Work?

  1. Send your logo, ideally as a vector (SVG, PDF, AI or EPS), and tell us who the gift is for and how many pieces you need.
  2. Within 5 working days you get a design, a visualisation and a price.
  3. We print a sample. If anything needs changing, we adjust it before the run.
  4. Once the sample is approved we produce the run, check every piece and pack it.

If your logo exists only as an image, we redraw it as a vector. We adjust thin lines and small lettering so they stay readable in 3D.

What Should You Watch for with Tax?

In Slovakia, a promotional item worth up to €17 per piece is a tax-deductible expense and giving it away free is not subject to VAT. Above €17 it counts as hospitality, with different tax treatment. The details with examples are in promotional items and tax: the €17 rule. Gifts for employees follow different rules, which are worth checking with your accountant.

How Do You Start?

Send a quote request with your logo, the type of gift, the quantity and the date you want to hand the gifts out. You get the price and lead time within 48 hours; for newly designed gifts, the scope and price proposal within 5 working days.
